Rosso di Montalcino produced by our winery SanLorenzo comes from the farm’s youngest vineyards, which open up like an amphitheatre on the Valle dell’Orcia and towards the sea. The medium clay soil is rich in stones, and the particular microclimate of the more than 500 metres altitude makes the taste of the Sangiovese cultivated in these vineyards particularly delicate. Characteristics

Vinified in steel tanks, it is subsequently aged in “old” barriques of various sizes in order to achieve an optimal balance. A further refinement in the bottle completes the cellar work to bring a fruity wine with an important structure into the glass.

The fresh aromas of ripe cherry and the pleasant hints of wood in the background make it balanced and elegant on the palate, giving it a particular taste that sets it apart. This wine goes very well with all red meat dishes and cheeses, red and cheeses.
