Have been published in recent days the reviews of Brunello di Montalcino 2008 and Riserva 2007 on the web site http://www.jancisrobinson.com/, tastings were made by Walter Speller ( http://www.facebook.com/walter. speller ).
Here’s what he wrote about our wines:
San Lorenzo 2008 Brunello di Montalcino Bramante 17 Drink 2015-2024
Deep ruby with orange tinges. Multilayered nose of sweet cherry and candied dark fruit. Hint of cedar. Very youthful, full
fruit palate underlined by acidity. Great balance and powerfully concentrated. Wait. (WS)
San Lorenzo, Riserva 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Bramante 15.5 Drink 2013-2020
Mid ruby with orange rim. Earthy and kitchen spices and with a layer of brooding candied fruit underneath. Lots of depth
and concentration and well balanced. Not a shy wine by any measure. (WS)
